METIER Productions has a track record of working with musicians and of understanding their needs in producing a demo. David Lefeber prides himself on running enjoyable sessions that get the best out of everyone involved.
Demo recordings can be anything from 20 minutes, which could be done easily in one day, to full-CD length (80 minutes), which would need at least two to three days of sessions.
Most recordings will be done in 24bit stereo with up to 96kHz sample rate if required. Multitrack recordings can be made if a particularly complex project will require extensive post production work.
All editing (and multitrack mixing when required) is done back at base using the latest SADiE series 5 editing platform.
CD mastering is also done in house.
Your final CD copies can be duplicated and printed in house for short runs (up to 200) on high-quality unbranded CDs. Where larger quantities are required we recommend the CDs be replicated at a specialist plant (we have contacts for good prices and an excellent service).
We can offer CD demo packages based on your specifications for the job. Once quoted, no additional charges will be introduced unless you change the job specifications.
Where you require booklets, we can produce these for you from your materials. Preparation is charged per hour. Booklets are printed by our CD replication plant for the best prices and highest most reliable quality.
If your project is for a demo DVD, we can take your video and do basic preparation editing, author the DVD with menus using your artwork and text, we can also encode a surround mix to Dolby Digital 5.1. If you need someone to undertake production of your video, we can put you in touch with top broadcast professional who will help you out. This will be charged independently of METIER Productions’ services.
All DVD authoring work is done on a by-the-hour charging basis.
